Our Opportunity:
You will be responsible for running Sports Phone 680, assisting in producing and editing sound for the show as well as being the lead on all evening Giants games Monday thru Friday. The hours are from 4:30pm to 12:30am.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates must have radio experience either at the college or smaller market level. Large to major market board operating experience a plus. Candidates must have a good understanding of all equipment in a radio control room including but not limited to: the broadcast console and related digital audio systems, call screening, Vox Pro, EAS Systems, broadcast delay, and any remote delivery equipment. They must have the ability to multi task, think quickly and make good decisions in a high pressure, fast paced environment. Must be able to get along with and work closely with other employees. Excellent communication skills are a must including writing and delivering sports updates on air twice per hour in addition to technical duties, good grammar and a strong on air announcing. Candidates must be reliable, responsible, and punctual and must be able to work weekends, weekend nights, overnights and holidays if needed.
