Job Description
Provide technical pre-sales support function to platform sales team and be a product advocate for ONE by Aol products in the field. One important function is to assist the sales team in managing and interpreting customers’ requirements and assist in matching the best product or services, that will satisfy a customer's needs.
Second area of focus is on post sales integrations of ONE by Aol products and solutions. Setting up our tech offering to fit the client’s business models and requirements as best as possible. Also making sure that clients understand how they can work within the ONE by Aol systems (e.g. conducting trainings).
Technical Consultants must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. They must also be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages (pre and post sales). They must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Technical Consultants report into the local Head of Service.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical information and explanations
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and post-sales support services
• Create technical presentations and demonstrations on how a product can meet the client needs
• Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
• Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery (e.g. simplicity)
• Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, and identify sales opportunities
• Keep knowledge of the industry up to date by studying new product descriptions, participating in educational opportunities, attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
• Convey customer requirements to product management and engineering teams
• Able to travel throughout sales territory
• Represent Aol on trade shows, industry events
Qualifications
Skills
• We will make sure that you get an excellent understanding of all products, solutions and technologies of ONE by Aol’s product suite
• Deep understanding of Internet technologies, TAG management and Client – Server communication
• Digital Advertising Industry experience: technology trends, offerings of competition (e.g. Google, Facebook, etc)
• Experience with Publishers, Agencies, Networks, Marketers, and other potential clients: Technology (e.g. how do they use Adserver systems, solutions for Video / Mobile, Monetization) as well as understanding their business models and revenue models
• Experiences with industry organizations: IAB, BVDW, OVK etc
• Knowledge of 3rd Parties technologies like DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, Measurement Tools etc
• Excellent Soft Skills: Communication, presentation, etc
