Summary:
The tools programmer will design, implement, enhance and ensure the proper functioning of the tools that will complete the engine possibilities and help improve the effectiveness of the production team.
Responsibilities:
• Develop tools adapted to game production
• Collaborate with production teams to identify their needs
• Document the work to transfer knowledge and enable users (from other crafts) to understand how to use the new systems and functions
• Understand the workflow for creating a video game
• Carry out all other related tasks
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in software programming, ideally in the video game industry , 3D computer graphics software industry or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in C# / .NET
• Minimum 2 years experience in C++
• Advanced level in WPF
• Good skills in GUI development
• Ability to write and understand technical documentation related to software programming (need analysis, design documents, etc.)
• Focus on producing quality work
• Ability to understand user needs and take them into account when programming
