Tribune Media is recruiting for our 2016 fellowship programs.
If you love News, Sports or Entertainment, we’re looking for 5 fellows to be part of our Editorial, Creative, Data/Insights, and Marketing teams. He/She will play an important role in development of new brands and growth of existing brands.
This is a paid, part-time fellowship.
Responsibilities:
The Editorial/Creative Intern (s) will learn and participate in:
• Pitching stories, producing segments and booking talent as needed
• Writing/scripting
• Conducting in-depth research
• Work closely with producers, editorial, video and social team members
• Organizing logistics for production needs including – equipment, venues, studio, props, travel, releases, etc.
• Publishing and community management across various social platforms
• Assist in managing partnerships and collaborations w/ content partners
• Brainstorms and bringing new ideas to the table
Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Program in an accredited College/University
• News, sports, or entertainment fanatic
• Strong understanding of earned media and why audiences share content
• Insightful take on building brand identity
• Understanding how to package content for increased engagement
• Active on social media
• Highly motivated, organized, self-starter
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Able to multitask, prioritize projects, and communicate progress
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Concern for accuracy
• Creative thinker
• Problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot
• Prior journalism, media internships
• Good vibes
