Coordinator, Sales Support - Home Entertainment
This position is responsible for managing all Retailer Item Set-Ups and Pricing Maintenance for all SPHE products within US and Canada. It is also responsible for Trade Promotion Spend Management data entry and maintenance. This position will collaborate with the Sales team on account specific requirements that support sales related initiatives at the Account level. It is also responsible for system enhancements/modifications due to business changes, as well as identifying process inefficiencies and assists in making recommendations for solutions. Lastly, the position will execute offsite conferences and training sessions. Sales Support works with senior management and most functional departments including marketing, finance, operations, demand planning, sales reporting and sales planning.
Core Responsibilities
Item Set Up:
• Ensures all SPHE and 3rd party product for US and Canada are communicated and/ or set-up in the customer’s systems retailer item based upon agreed service levels
• Communicates and or Updates all changes to SPHE and 3rd party product to customers and/or updates the customer’s systems
Trade Promotion Management:
• Work closely with the Sales Support Analyst on reviewing customer deductions against promotional programs
• Work closely with the sales and finance team in communicating approved promotional events
• Provide back-up support to the Sales Support Analyst on promotion entry / maintenance of all promotional activity
• Research and provide resolutions on promotional pricing discrepancies
Price Management:
• Execute and Monitor Pricing to ensure accuracy at the account level
• Research and provide resolution on pricing discrepancies between SPHE and Customers
• Create, maintain and distribute pricing vendor books to field sales teams on a timely basis with up to date and accurate information on product pricing
Account Customization
: Focuses on Account Specific requirements which include but are not limited to:
• Customization of PowerPoint presentations that are account specific
• Review / update internal pricing reports and market share reports
• Recap account’s weekly circular ads and or product placement at the account
• Manages cross-studio product lifecycle tracking windows, promotional post-mortem decks and case studies
• Liaises between Account and Internal departments on new requests for customer data feeds and provides suggestions for issue resolution on existing master data feeds
Account Data Management/Internal Systems:
• Identify initiatives to capitalize on opportunities to increase procedural efficiencies and systemic enhancements as it pertains to the core functionality and productivity of the position
• Assist the Analysts in evaluating and addressing issues with IT on system related issues on behalf of field sales
Training & Special Projects:
• Executes in-house and offsite conferences, training sessions and account meetings. Gather necessary materials for events to ensure proper execution
Preferred credentials:
• College degree preferred
• 2+ years working experience within the entertainment/consumer packaged goods industry or other related experience
• Proficiency with a PC-Windows working environment, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Candidate should have knowledge of and skills in:
• Making quick / effective decisions to ensure retailer item set ups and communications are accurate and timely
• Adaptability, flexibility and learning new internal systems and vendor portals
• Communicating effectively and strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and with external customers (both written and verbal)
• Team player willing to be flexible in job responsibilities depending on the needs of customers and team
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team based, customer focused environment
• Coordinating with internal departments as well as the ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
