To assist and support customers in the transformation of learning. Sales representatives are responsible for creating effective and innovative sales solutions that address the issues and challenges facing institutions, instructors, and students today to meet necessary educational outcomes.
Role Overview:
To own and define the sales opportunities for our next generation product offerings for Higher Education being built on the DLE (Digital Learning Ecosystem). Responsibilities will also include travel, WebEx demonstrations, supporting the regional sales teams with their expertise of Digital Solutions and collaboration with different teams in the organization.
Job responsibilities:
• Initiative: Grow sales revenue and maintain/protect existing business by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities in the specified territory.
• Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with professors, faculty and administrators - become their trusted advisor for digital platforms/solutions.
• Negotiation Skills: This position will need to work on critical price points & will need good negotiation skills in closing the sales.
• Identify & help create new product lines (Assessment platform, Adaptive Learning etc) based on MH product portfolio.
• Make highly effective presentations of our products to internal and external customers. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all products.
• Work with regional teams to ensure alignment with sales strategy. Train them regularly on new digital products.
• Technical Acumen: must be able to effectively communicate unique selling features and product functionality to ensure proper staff and end user (customer) product usage and satisfaction.
• Effectively represent McGraw-Hill Education to domestic accounts via personal meetings, phone and email communication.
• Report back market and competitor information & trends.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Fully Bilingual ( English - Spanish)
3. with min of 2-5 years of experience with Sales of Digital Products or IT industry
4. Demonstrated sales quota achievement
5. Excellent communication & analytical skills
6. Experience in selling coursewaredigital products
7. Employ effective consultative techniques including pre-call planning and productive questioning strategies that lead to winning business.
8. Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities; maintain product knowledge around MHE technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment.
9. Deliver technology presentations to faculty.
10. Demonstrate teamwork through sharing of best practices and working with cross functional teams.
11. Implement company initiatives into sales territory.
12. Build strong partnerships with faculty members, universities, colleges, institutes etc.
