Job Description:
The position entails the following responsibilities:
1) Software development, maintenance and testing using HTML, CSS, Newsletter authoring systems, web frameworks and rendering tools.
2) Solution design and integration required to implement Newsletter delivery and web content delivery systems with focus on specific platforms like Strongmail, Mailchimp, Wordpress, feed readers and backend databases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle), Amazon Web Services, Docker and any other cloud/web technologies that the future brings.
3) 24x7 on-call support of production web and newsletter applications on a weekly rotation basis.
4) Regular interaction with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and reporting on project status.
5) Regular interaction with a team of developers within the technology department for the purpose of collaboration and communication to drive towards a cohesive technology direction.
