Project Manager, Compensation
A Little About Us
As a member of global compensation team, the compensation manager will be responsive
for leading development, implementation and administration of Yahoo! compensation
programs. The program manager must be customer service oriented and self-directed, and
must work closely with members of the Global Compensation Team, Human Resource
Business Partners and members of management. In addition to supporting Yahoo!
programs the candidate will be responsible for project management of selected key projects
to ensure projects are is completed within a defined scope, time and constraint.

well under pressure.
Your Day
• Manage the reporting and roll-up reporting requirements of the program and deliver
reports to HR Leadership.
• Lead HR technology maintenance, implementation and improvement projects
related to compensation.
• Lead the management of annual compensation focal review projects.
• Conduct analysis and review of various worldwide compensation programs and
propose improvements to senior leaders.
• Assess effectiveness of the company’s compensation programs based on our pay-for-performance
philosophy.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise plans as appropriate to meet the
ever changing project needs and requirements.
• Compose compensation market data composites from multiple survey sources to
formulate recommended pay levels and to conduct competitive analyses.
• Manage all aspects of the annual mid-year compensation update from initiation
through delivery
• Create and lead compensation trainings for HR, managers and employees as
appropriate.
