Position Title: Product Manager, Business Visibility

At Yahoo, we have enormous volume of distributed operational data. Business Visibility team is responsible for turning this raw data into meaningful information by assembling, organizing, reporting and analyzing data across the regions and functions. As a central competency, Business Visibility team works towards consistency of data, internal data strategies and standardized reporting and insights.
A Lot About You:
The organization is hungry for business insights fueled by analytics. Business Visibility team has launched internal data platform to provide business critical metrics for thousands of users across Sales, Products, Finance and Corporate functions. Product manager for Business Visibility will take the solution to internal users, engage with the user groups, serve as key point of contact for the users and represent the voice of the users. Product Manager will lead the training for key users and work with rest of Business Visibility team to shape the product experience, features and influence overall data roadmap.
Your Day:
1. Engage: Lead the user engagement for multiple internal users groups including Sales, Products, Ad Products, Finance and Marketing. Listen to the users and ideate next great internal data product.
2. Product management: Develop roadmap and business logic for feature rollouts
3. Communicate: Key changes, releases, bugs and data enhancements
4. Educate: Lead the user and superuser training and office hours. Develop video content to help disseminate data to the users.
5. Support: Listen, acknowledge, triage and follow-up all user queries and issues.
6. Check: Stay on top of the business performance and changes.
You Must Have:
1. 5+ years of experience in Product managing or developing data platforms and business intelligence tools.
2. Solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into database requirements.
3. Strong business orientation and acumen; being accountable for results. Experience in high-tech, including exposure to sales and product organizations
4. Expertise in information design, data visualization, analytical techniques, web analytics tools and data warehousing.
5. B.S. or preferably M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
