DESCRIPTION:
Write, edit, proofread, format and accurately post stories on the various social media channels including Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and websites.
Research and recommend new social media outlets.
Stay up to date on all platform innovations, user experience changes and trends.
Capture images that portray the essence of each station’s brand/provide an insider view via Instagram.
Identify social media/marketing opportunities utilizing our assets (video/still photography/blog content).
Cross-Media: maintain a consistent conversational and fun messaging style across all platforms.
Create and maintain an editorial calendar of content across the social media outlets.
Post all sponsored posts correctly for advertisers.
Work with content managers and bloggers to cross-promote opportunities on all channels.
Maintain writing, editing and "voice" standards for each brand.
Work closely with other members of the Digital Team to effectively promote new content additions on websites across social media channels.
Mentor/teach staff to be as effective as possible in their social targeting, deployment, and creativity.
Develop social platform promotions for artists/clients.
Other duties as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Majority of work day will be spent sitting and using a computer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience. 3+ years radio experience a plus. Must demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. Must exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side and be able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Maintains excellent writing and language skills. Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written/ video format. Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of "Search and Social." Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress
