Job Summary
The Global Sourcing Analyst of Production, Events and Marketing sourcing will be responsible for supporting sourcing activities and initiatives across multiple business units. This role also requires the development and execution of sourcing strategies, with an equal emphasis placed on the ability to identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities as well as the ability to manage RFI and RFPs and support vendor negotiations. The analyst will be expected to learn very quickly from team members as this person will be assigned categories to manage as directed.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Support leadership by providing vendor spend data across all BUs to drive company-wide synergies highlighting opportunities across common vendors, category spend, or processes
• Support Leadership by conducting spend and category analysis across multiple business units
• Improve analytical capabilities of the team by developing tools or templates that can be leveraged to monitor spend, conduct opportunity assessments, analyze RFPs, aid in negotiation, calculate and track savings.
• Illustrate and provide key insights, draw conclusions and provide recommendations from data analysis
• Create lease versus buy models for different goods and services
• Develop financial models and provide data needed to identify P&L “flow through” savings and avoidance
• Rationalize ROI and ROT associated with team’s project pipeline to ensure resource planning and prioritization
• Work with team to build strategic and operational category plans providing key spend and market insights
• Analyze and benchmark big or complex data sets including, but not limited to, media data sets (both linear & non-linear), show & event costs (transportation, set, lighting & grip, stages, equipment rentals, etc.), 3rd party production costs
• Create and deliver executive presentations that promote internal sponsorship or drive results and decisions
• Assist with execution of end-to-end sourcing processes including all analytics and negotiations.
• Support key big initiatives that require company-wide involvement, sponsorship and execution
• Manage the RFP lifecycle utilizing an Electronic-sourcing platform
• Develop and manage project plans
• Support key strategic vendor alliance and vendor performance management initiatives
• Document and evaluate current process maps and identify potential efficiencies in vendor workflows
• Ensure reporting, metrics and dashboard deliverables are maintained in a timely manner.
• Work with sourcing team members on analytics and process mapping as directed
Basic Qualifications
• Relevant industry experience
• Experience developing and/or presenting business cases
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or other quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of finance, consulting or sourcing experience
• Fluent in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
• Experience in data analysis, financial and/or quantitative modeling
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in project management
• Experience with data mining large data sets
• Comfort with written and verbal communication of quantitative and qualitative information with executives
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• Availability to directly support and interact with multiple international business units
Additional Qualifications
• A proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements; ability to influence and drive change while building solid relationships with senior business leaders, your internal clients and external vendors
• Internal or external business consulting experience highly desired
• Knowledge and interest in key sourcing areas such as:

• Knowledge of global supply base
• Ability to utilize E-sourcing platform
• Strong analytical skills; MS Excel proficient; financial modeling preferred
• Strong written and communication skills; MS PowerPoint, MS Word proficient
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Awareness of best practices regarding vendor management
• Excellent documentation and requirements analysis
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
• Process mapping
• Experience in contract development and execution
