Job Summary:
As a member in the IT Program Management Office (PMO), the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale, complex business transformation programs. Initially the incumbent will lead the Market Modernization program, partnering closely with the Market Engineering organization., IT Network Operations and the IT Telecom Services Director.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to document as-is business processes and work with business leaders to develop improved & streamlined solutions to complex business challenges.
• Creates and executes program plans and decomposes programs into projects as needed to achieve to achieve program objectives.
• Ability to decompose projects into manageable tasks, balancing scope, time, cost, quality, and resources.
• Develop comprehensive charters and business case strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Identify resource needs and secure resources to support program objectives.
• Manage all day-to-day aspects of a program, including stakeholder communication, scope, budget and risk and issue management.
• Responsible to manage and lead program communications, steering committee meetings and prepare program metrics for review with executive leadership, business and IT.
• Facilitate meetings with clear agendas, action items, and outcomes.
• Team player who can collaborate across business units, IT, Finance and Procurement organizations to effectively implement change initiatives.
• Ability to develop, articulate and build support around a long term vision and implement incremental milestones in support of that vision.
• Strong negotiating skills coupled with diplomacy and understanding of working with multiple partners in achievement of strategy.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to achieve results through influence over external & internal staff, and over indirect resources.
• Manage third party relationships with vendors, including but not limited to telecom service vendors.
• Superior facilitation and communication skills; capable of interfacing effectively with multiple levels of management across iHeartMedia business units.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data, records and reports.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Minimum 8 years practical project management experience running large-scale, complex programs in a global environment.
• Experienced in delivering IT infrastructure projects. Familiarity with IT networking and telecom programs. Familiarity with Zetta software is highly desirable.
• Prior working experience in the Media and Entertainment vertical is a plus.
• Experience in working directly with internal business customers, team members, technical experts, and professional staff, including external suppliers, including telecom vendors e.g., AT&T, Advocate, Tangoe.
• Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives within a matrixed organization, participating in cross-organizational projects, building effective cross-functional teams and relationships with a wide variety of management levels and external vendors.
• Proficient working with Windows applications including Microsoft Office Suite including MS Projects, Visio and SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience with Portfolio Program Management tools; prior working experience with MS Project Server/Project Online is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Highly focused and self-motivated.
