We engage directly with clients bringing deep knowledge of their industry, brand, and clients to deliver integrated digital and marketing solutions that drive business results.
You are the strategic shepherd for several key clients and the multi-disciplinary teams that support them, bringing business rigor, industry expertise, and digital savvy to each account. You are a Group Director in Strategy.
Group Directors will not only lead and formulate the Strategy on multi-year, multi-project client programs and retainer accounts, they will also guide the planning and progression of activities for the entire account. As part of the project's leadership team, Group Directors will serve as a primary point of contact for the client, and will provide oversight throughout the program's life to ensure that the entire team is working towards the most effective client solution. They will also be the dedicated Strategist called on to support Business Development activities for the industry or functional area to which they belong.
Their primary responsibility extends to all aspects of the program or account: advising on project planning and staffing, helping to track status, managing a team of assigned Strategists, delivering a robust and cohesive Strategy, and ultimately contributing to the ongoing evolution and maturity of the client relationship, as well as generating demand individually and for the practice. As Directors, they "connect the dots" across Disciplines, playing a crucial role in envisioning the ultimate client solution.
At Razorfish, the components of a Strategy engagements vary depending on the client we are working with, but might include the following modules: business goals and objectives, strategic plans, creative briefs, qualitative and quantitative research, strategic recommendations, digital visioning, stakeholdering, workshop facilitation, valuation and business case development, organizational design, process optimization, digital roadmap development, future state visualizations, and other modules depending on need.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategy across a portfolio of accounts/projects, with a strong focus on business analysis, strategic and financial modeling, differentiated digital experiences, key digital capabilities and/or road mapping
• Be responsible and accountable for the progress and quality of junior strategy team members on your accounts
• Take on pivotal leadership role across multi-year, multi-project client program or retainer, helping to see the strategic vision through to completion
• Be the key point of contact for one or more clients/project sponsor, helping our client engagement teams to manage the overall relationship
• Contribute to business development, and help to identify growth opportunities on dedicated accounts
• Digital SME for the office, called on to represent the firm for Business Development across all industries or functions
• Manage and develop the career of two or more Strategy team members, serving as a mentor and advocate for all individuals on the team
• Discuss team’s relative strengths in staffing discussions with our resource management team, helping to train and educate team members
Qualifications:
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams.
• Ability to communicate in a persuasive and compelling fashion.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Experience working with and building close relationships with Senior-level clients.
• Deep experience in the following digital capabilities: advertising and media, brand engagement, social and mobile.
• Domain expertise in any of the following industries: automotive, financial services, e-commerce/retail.
Qualifications & Experience
• Senior digital graduate hire: Graduate degree in any business-related field, with 8 to 10 years or experience in the digital consulting or marketing space

• Senior specialist experience hire: Undergraduate degree, with 10 to 12 years of experience in digital consulting or marketing (specializing in industry/functional vertical
