A LITTLE ABOUT US
As part of the Ad Operations - Partnerships team you would be joining a group of experienced and fun individuals who do whatever it takes to successfully execute the task at hand. From supporting Premium Display Partnerships (ABC, ATT, CNBC, etc.) and their ad-operations related needs, to overseeing Preferred Partner Agency Agreements, to creating/activating self-serve seats as part of our Platform Administration role, no two days are ever the same. They are challenging and exciting , but never the same.

YOUR DAY
AGENCY AGREEMENTS
• Staying on top of a LARGE number of communications betweens Agencies and Sales.
• Understand the many nuances of each deal (e.g. discounts, when to apply them, when not to apply, does a campaign need additional approval, etc.) and be able to communicate with Sales and/or the Agency regarding those nuances
• Tracking the campaigns associated with each deal
• Working closely with Agency Development Team to ensure the partnership is in good shape and if/when problematic issues arise, quickly identify and address those issues
PLATFORM ADMINISTRATION
• Managing a queue of new self-serve Seat Requests/Updates
• Ensuring that all aspects of a deal are in place and compliant with our processes and policies
• Working with Sales, Product, Engineering teams to improve processes, roll out changes to the platforms, identify and correct issues that have caused something to break somewhere in the process (reporting, revenue, invoicing, etc.)
PARTNERSHIPS
As a new hire you will be brought up to speed on this role over time. The day to day responsibilities here are almost always display ad-ops related and are typically specific to the Platforms the partners are using. In this role you will be expected to represent the Partner to internal teams (typically Product and Engineering) and in turn you will be expected to represent Yahoo (e.g. Product/Engineering) back to the Partner in a meaningful and understandable way. The Partners are not always technical so an ability to understand somewhat technical aspects and communicate that back in a not too technical way is important in this role. Yahoo system specific knowledge is important in this role, if you have it - fantastic. If not, but you show the aptitude to pick it up, that works too, there's a team of a few great teachers in place to learn from.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of display ad-operations experience
• Experience working with and educating clients and/or internal peers on use of ad-serving products and platforms – preferably Yahoo specific products/platforms
• An engineering level of ad-serving knowledge is not required, but candidates must display the ability to reasonably understand and interpret feedback from engineering and effectively communicate back to partners and/or internal business contacts
• Displays the ability to work successfully with a diverse set of cross-functional teams: technical, product, sales, finance, operational, etc.
• A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential, along with the flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
