The Director of Rights and Royalties Solutions responsible for managing the relationship between the Rights and Royalties business function and technology, and is responsible for the design and ongoing solution management of any enterprise solutions for Rights and Royalties.
The role will be responsible for working with the Technology Delivery team to ensure the solutions meet the needs of the business, and will be accountable for managing the long-term roadmap for the solutions
Within the Enabling Programme this role will take end to end responsibility for the design of the Rights and Royalties modules of the Enabling Programme IT solution. In support of this the role will also own defining requirements and ongoing solution management of other systems and legacy systems data migration.
The Director Rights and Royalties Solutions will lead a team of analysts and solution managers in creating a technology solution capable of meeting the business requirements in a cost effective, robust, and scalable way.
The role will report to the VP Program and Solutions Management, Content & Rights. Day to day working with be aligned closely with the Programme roadmap, and will work closely with the Programme Management office and chosen systems integrator.
● Plans and oversees the day-to-day running of workstream/team and delivery of milestones on time.
● Manage team budget and follow
● Ensure best practise management of the team. Including regular feedback and effective and supportive people management
● Work supportively and collaboratively with other teams
● Build relationships and trust with key stakeholder to support programme delivery and collaborative approaches where appropriate
● Communicate in line with communications and programme plans with team and wider stakeholders.
Qualifications
Essential Skills /Experience
● Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering large scale rights and royalty technology solutions in an international business environment
● Strong track record of leading the technology based elements of complex end to end business solution, to deliver programme objectives
● Strong experience with and understanding of all aspects of the Rights and Royalties function and related commercially available software packages - experience with Fadel IPMSuite a significant advantage, as is Oracle eBS financial experience.
● Able to actively promote and represent the core deliverables of the programme
● Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
● Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences.
● Excellent customer service ethic
● Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Good organisational, planning & time management skills.
