IgnitionOne is looking for a Media Manager with strong display expertise to develop, recommend and implement integrated media strategies that address the communications and marketing challenges for our clients.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This particular position is within the Display Advisor Group (DAG). DAG is an elite services team within IgnitionOne whose focus is to maximize the effectiveness of display performance and brand media alongside the other marketing channels within their clients’ portfolios. The Media Manager reports to the Media Supervisor and Media Director, while overseeing Associate Media Managers to ensure all components of media planning, execution, and optimization are handled flawlessly and efficiently. This person must use their resources and technology to continuously seek out ways to improve performance. This role requires extensive inter-department communication as well as interaction with high-level positions at both the client and partner agencies side.
The ideal candidate is accountable, a team player and comes to work every day with positive, go-getter attitude. He/She must also identify as a problem-solver and self-starter. As a mid-level manager, this person will be tasked to mentor junior employees and serve as a professional role model.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• BA/BS in marketing or related field with 2+ years of online/digital media planning and buying experience, preferably with direct marketing goals
• Knowledge of 3rd party tracking and serving technology (DART, Atlas, SearchIgnite, Keyword Max, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge of advanced reporting and analytics provided by third party tools (e2c, attribution interfaces, etc.)
• Expert-level Excel is a must and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills
• Demonstrate best practice in optimization techniques and customer retention strategies (CRM).
• Expertise in Display marketing a must; understanding of all digital media disciplines (including Ad Networks, DSP's, Mobile, video, social media, etc)
• Deep understanding of audience and data targeting and performance based media campaigns (CPA, Rev Share, Sales Generation)
• Experience planning large-scale branding initiatives and working knowledge of associated tracking mechanism (Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings, Nielsen Digital Brand Effect)
• Proven ability to synthesize data/results, identify trends/key findings and present innovative integrated media recommendations that go beyond existing scope of work to achieve clients' marketing and communications objectives
• Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills
• Success executing complex, large scale campaigns flawlessly
• Productive relationships with media reps and internal teams that lead to successful campaign deliverables and high client satisfaction
• Ability to juggle multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
• Innate curiosity and aptitude (staying abreast of trends and activities in the digital marketing and clients' business) that proactively demonstrate thought leadership and new ideas/recommendations
• Management experience a plus!
• Experience on telco, travel and hospitality, and finance is ideal!
