Comcast is looking for a Principal iOS Developer to join our exciting confidential team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for talented, passionate people. Responsibilities
Serve as the Lead for the team in the technical development of company's mobile client deliveries. Working collaboratively with all developers and software engineers
Provides advanced application development and technical support for customer-facing native mobile iOS applications
Provides technical solutions in new systems development, new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems
Participates actively in agile practices by collaborating with product owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and other team members in such activities as grooming user stories with cross-functional development teams
Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of native iOS application enhancements
Responsible for engineering best practices leading to excellent overall quality of software
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Supports a culture of continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
6+ years' experience in experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience creating mobile applications for a wide variety of devices and iOS versions
Substantial experience in designing, building, & implementing software solutions in an agile environment
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
Understands the fundamentals of iterative development
Understands Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
Understands the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an environment with high visibility and similarly high expectations
Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value
