A Lot About You
You are a self-starter with writing or copy-editing experience, preferably in media or advertising. You work effectively within high-energy cross-functional teams as well as independently. You have a passion for risk-detection and mitigation. You are detail-oriented, effective in written and interpersonal communication, analytical, and comfortable operating under deadlines in a production-oriented environment.
Your Day
• Review new and modified ads for compliance to the Gemini Ad policies, including Native ad image and landing page review for potential sensitive issues
• Proactive monitoring of high-value search marketplaces across multiple platforms
• Communicate issues to advertisers and internal sales teams in a clear and concise manner to gain their understanding and prevent unnecessary follow-ups
• Analyze output to identify patterns and issues that could be addressed by product and/or process changes; articulate these changes to multiple groups of stakeholders
• Develop and communicate best practices for advertisers and sales team
• Use data to detect risky advertiser trends and implement processes to mitigate risk
• Identify and suspend accounts that pose risk to Yahoo
• Resolve ad review and policy escalations including appeals and internal complaints, and report on actions and trends associated to escalations
You Must Have
• BA/BS degree in marketing, journalism, creative writing or a related field, or work experience that goes demonstrably beyond the minimum requirements detailed below
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish, since this position will work on coverage in Latin America. Native speaker fluency preferred.
• Experience working with emerging/developing ad products
• Experience in an online marketing or editorial role
• Ability to make logical and consistent judgments in policy and relevance matters
