ICF is growing and we seek an experience Computational and Network Researcher to support large Cyber Security and Technology Programs. As Computational and Network Researcher you will partner to meet and exceed the client’s vision and deliver outstanding customer/client satisfaction.
This is an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and work alongside ICF experts harnessing the latest technologies and develop lasting solutions. In this role you will work collaboratively with other ICF subject matter experts, senior leadership, clients and teaming partners.
ICF’s Enterprise and Cybersecurity Solutions Division:
The Enterprise and Cybersecurity Solutions team builds and supports robust solutions for Government and Commercial clients including DoD agencies and large civilian agencies in the areas of: Network intrusion detection and prevention and threat assessment; Research and development; Vulnerability management and C&A; Information Assurance (IA) support. We help our clients to analyze and correlate attacks and with the outstanding technical expertise of our team, we create original detection and analysis tools, develop security programs, and develop physical and logical access protocols.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or related subject
• Demonstrated research experience in the field of Machine Learning, Mathematical Modeling, Computer Science, Quantum Networking/Computing or High Performance Computing
• Demonstrated experience using Java, C/C++, or Python
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Track record of recent publications in a relevant area
• 15+ years of overall experience
Candidates with expertise, as demonstrated by research publications or software implementations, in the use of any of the following techniques for solving real-world problems: large-scale machine learning techniques, statistical analysis (particularly Bayesian methods), game-theoretic techniques, threat analysis and modeling, malware development, graph theory, human cognitive models, reinforcement learning. Strong preference is given to publications applying these techniques to security problems and published open-source software.
