Snapchat is seeking an experienced Pricing & Yield Management (PYM) Analyst or Manager to help accelerate revenue growth. You will work closely with key team members in our Revenue Operations, Revenue Product, and Sales organizations to help inform monetization strategies for new and existing products, support our growing sales team, and create and drive processes to ensure successful pricing execution. Your work will help shape the future of the Snapchat.
What you'll do:
• Work and develop relationships with internal stakeholders from Revenue Operations, Sales and Revenue Product teams.
• Provide strategic pricing and operational support to stakeholders, especially to Snapchat’s growing global Sales team within Europe.
• Create and maintain rate cards across multiple products, lines of business, and geographies
• Conduct analysis to evaluate profitability of various advertising deals, business partnerships and buying models.
• Enforcement of pricing guidelines to drive profitability
Who we're looking for:
• BA/BS degree from top-tier school in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related technical field, MBA or graduate degree also a plus
• Analyst or Manager
• Analyst level
◦ Data-driven thinker with inventory & yield management experience a plus
◦ Understanding of various online ad pricing models with international (sell side or buy side) experience
◦ Familiarity with with big brand advertising and direct sales dynamics a plus
◦ Experience with online advertising platforms (DFP, Atlas, etc) a plus
◦ Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
◦ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
◦ Understanding of programmatic ad buying, along with RTB and auction dynamics a plus
◦ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment
◦ Comfort with statistical modeling and/or SQL a plus
• Manager level
◦ Must have experience supporting large international sales teams (especially across Europe) in an operational capacity
◦ Experience creating/enforcing pricing policies and selling guidelines
◦ Inventory & yield management experience a must
◦ Strong understanding of various online ad pricing models with international (sell side or buy side) experience
◦ Experience with big brand advertising and direct sales dynamics a must
◦ Impeccable business judgment a must
◦ Strong verbal and written communication skills
◦ Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including speaking and presenting to large groups
◦ Understanding of programmatic ad buying, along with RTB and auction dynamics a plus
◦ Experience with online advertising platforms (DFP, Atlas, etc) a plus
◦ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment
