DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for serving as the creative/technical director for live Newscasts as well as pre-recorded show elements such as Opens, Closes, Newscasts, and Interviews. Experience with ELC OPERATIONS, Camera Robotics, Audio Consoles, Playout Servers, and Graphics Playback are a must.
The position works closely with producers and other crew members to organize and switch the many production elements that comprise the broadcast. This individual will also work closely with the engineering department to create a successful workflow, report, track and resolve technical issues within the shows facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates Qualifications must have at least 3 years of "hands-on" experience in the technical direction of major market television newscasts. Extensive knowledge of video switchers, graphics systems, server playout systems, audio consoles and robotic camera systems is essential. Demonstrated experience as a creative/technical director is helpful.
Applicants must be able to be versatile in their working schedule (mornings, nights, weekends and holidays). In addition, the successful candidate will possess the ability, leadership, willingness, drive, and initiative to:

• Successfully collaborate and interact with colleagues and network staff.
Experience with ENPS, Sony switchers and Sony ELC production automation helpful, VIZrt Graphics, CALREC audio consoles, Cambotics robotic camera systems.
