Job Summary:
The Senior Division Director, Packaging & GTM will serve as the key point of contact between the corporate marketing team and market leadership and sales at iHeartMedia. This team member is focused on helping implement the go-to-market and packaging strategies within the markets.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Division Presidents to facilitate the communication and distribution of strategic sales collateral
• Assist Marketing, Packaging and GTM Team on sales packages, product positioning, and overall GTM strategy to strengthen iHeartMedia’s leadership among regionally based agencies and clients
• Develop and oversee the maintenance and distribution of Regional Ad Sales marketing materials, including one-sheets, presentations, case studies, etc.
• Foster strong working relationships with other departments and key stakeholders including Product, Programming, Research and Creative Services
• Develop local POV on the strategy and positioning of new ad products and sponsorships
• Track the performance of packages via available metrics and regional sales feedback in order to inform and optimize go-forward efforts
• Work with ad sales research to surface local marketplace trends and insights around key audience segments, categories, media consumption habits, etc. in order to better position iHeartMedia offerings in the regions
Experience/Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10-years experience in marketing solutions, sales development and/or media agency role
• Experience in supporting local/regional sales teams
• Knowledge of both radio and digital mediums
• Proven experience navigating complex sales and marketing organizations – managing teams that you don’t manage
• Familiarity leveraging enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.com, ClearSlide, and Sales content management platforms
• A strong understanding of how to leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to deliver advertising solutions
• An ability to manage challenging and complex projects and build consensus in a multi-layered organization
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong design sensibility for sales/marketing collateral
• Willingness to travel to regions as needed
