Summary
Yelp is growing! We’re looking for an experienced digital sales person to join our National Sales Team in San Francisco, New York and Phoenix.
The Yelp Mid-Market Account Executive works with multi-location regional and national corporate clients selling Yelp's diverse advertising products. You will develop and work a sales territory and drive new business from prospecting to close. We are looking for someone with an experienced digital media sales background and a demonstrated track record of success.
Responsibilities:
• Work a sales territory and drive new business from prospecting to close
• Map out the client organization and build relationships with multiple contacts, with a strong focus on decision-makers within the organization
• Understand the client’s business objectives/challenges and align Yelp’s solutions to accomplish the objectives and/or assist in overcoming their challenges
• Strong time management skills, creative problem solver and self-sufficient worker
About you:
• Minimum five years sales experience selling online advertising programs
• Strong understanding of online media and metrics
• Proven track record of exceeding quota
• Demonstrated ability to use strategic selling skills
• Successful experience presenting to mid to large size groups
• Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel and Salesforce
• Strong time management skills, creative problem solver and self-sufficient worker
• Be fearless, relentless and have an underdog mentality with an unwillingness to settle for anything less than your best!
