Description: South Florida’s largest daily newspaper, winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for Public Service
We’re offering paid internships for the summer of 2016. This is an intensive 11-week program, from early June to mid August, which offers hands-on experience and training in a dynamic newsroom setting.

They will work closely with reporters, visual journalists and editors, who will serve as mentors. We place our interns throughout the newsroom: Metro, sports, features, business, design, video-photo, audience development-digital, El Sentinel (Spanish weekly). We allow for cross-training among departments.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed basic journalism courses, have some experience working for a campus newspaper or off-campus publication, or have completed a previous media internship. We prefer juniors and seniors. We also accept graduate students.
