We are currently looking to hire a VP, Advanced Video Data & Analytics for our newly created Advanced TV Team. The main focus of this position will be to Lead the agency conversation on established and emerging opportunities around advanced TV placement, targeting and measurement.
The ideal candidate will:
• Introduce proprietary solutions to key stake-holder disciplines across the agency.
• Provide scheduled assessments and introductions of key players and technologies in the space.
• Develop a visionary execution to linking agency buying and planning platforms.
• Balance the internal needs of both research and activation departments.
• Provide Research expertise to the Horizon Advanced activation team
• Collaborate with rest of team on all client initiatives in the advanced TV space
• Analyze and apply data from various Research software systems
• Be able to discuss the general media landscape and marketplace
• Be able to communicate knowledge of various 3rd party and 1st party data sources
• Create and maintain dynamic presentations about advanced tv and how and what data impacts advanced tv
• Train and manage junior level staff
• Evaluate media vendors and research providers
• Make research apply to specific brands
• Write papers about advanced tv media trends
• Be detail-oriented
• Be able to constantly re-prioritize multiple projects
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of the media planning and buying process
• Extensive knowledge of Nielsen systems (Galaxy, NPower) and competitive databases (Kantar, Monitor Plus)
• Knowledge of 3rd party data sources and uses
• Knowledge around application of 1st party data and matching
• The desire to collaborate and work as a team
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Good writing skills; experience writing short articles/papers
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Experience in simplifying charts and data for presentations
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good presentation skills
• Experience managing junior level staff
• Knowledge of the general media landscape, especially Television
• Enthusiasm!
Desired Experience:
10-15 Years in the media industry, with some of that time spent at a media planning and buying agency, Advertising/communications degree
