Horizon Media, Inc., headquartered in New York City, is the largest independent media services company in the world. We are currently seeking a Senior Digital Media Analyst to help continue our expansion in our Los Angeles office.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of digital metrics; both from a brand and direct response perspective as well as a track record of successfully building analytic approaches for entertainment clients. A major responsibility of this role will be to build the Horizon Media digital analytics approach and infrastructure for a major motion picture and television client.
Communicate concise data points, trends, and measurement strategies to a broad audience - from development and technical experts to traditional brand managers. In this role, you will work closely across the media planning and brand strategy teams to develop KPIs and reporting methodologies / approaches that match back to campaign and brand goals. Help build the team to develop clear and concise dashboarding that will deliver information in an intelligent and digestible manner. Beyond creating these reports, you will be tasked with analyzing the information and bringing forward insights, results, and suggesting optimizations to improve said results. Though reporting prowess is important, the ideal candidate must be able to peel through the layers of reported data, disregarding the unnecessary, and deliver analysis and insight in a constructive and concise manner both internal and external client constituents.
Requirements:
• Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.
• Entertainment experience preferred
• Expert knowledge of adserving tools (DoubleClick/DART, MediaMind) and site served analytics tools (Adobee suite and/or Google Analytics)
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy and standard media measurement
• Experience managing and coordinating efforts across various teams/offices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman's terms
• 3-4 years relevant experience
