We are currently seeking a VP, Digital Media Activationto fill an opening in our Digital Department. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about the people they work with and has a strong point of view about digital media.
The primary responsibilities include:
• The management of multiple digital media teams lead by Media Directors and including Associate Directors, Supervisors, Sr. Planners, Planners and Jr. Planners
• A thorough understanding of the digital media landscape and dynamics of large-scale digital media investments across video, audio, social, SEM, SEO, mobile, IPTV, gaming, augmented reality etc.
• Takes ownership of rate negotiations, partnership strategy, plan development, and cost savings across key publisher, technology solution provider, and research providers (including syndicated research) etc.
• Creates category specific HMI vision for buying approaches, analytics, operational management, digital channel mix management, emerging opportunities and strategic partnership development
• Strong skills as a manager with ability to mentor, coach, and support
• Optimizes resource management, manages team performance evaluation process, and collaborates on operational enhancements
• Direct client interaction experience at a Senior level as well as interaction with internal Executive staff
• Experiences in championing the adoption of new processes
• A specific focus on developing and curating innovative/creative media solutions and advanced publisher negotiations- consistently bring new media and technology ideas to team for application/brainstorming
• Encourages an environment of collaboration and entrepreneurship
• Active involvement in new business prospecting

• Actively involved in education of internal and external teams on digital landscape trends and capabilities
• Stewards rate savings strategy, strategic partnership development, quarterly/consistent partner meetings
Client & Industry Focus
• Works closely with business development and brand teams to drive development of client digital business
• Develops and cultivates key partnerships to grow HMI capabilities and visibility
• Active participation at conferences and on industry panels, speaking events, and committees
• Contributes to submission for awards an industry case studies
Requirements:

Background:
• BA/BS from accredited school required
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Digital
• Minimum of 8+ years overall work experience in related position or Digital Planning role
