Who You Are:
The Business Intelligence / Analytics team at Getty Images is seeking an individual who’s passionate about using data to solve complex business issues. You are a self-starter with the ability to thrive in environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders with differing priorities. You have both the intellectual curiosity and technical skills to navigate disparate and sometimes messy data.
Your Next Challenge:
The Business Analyst role is both a support and thought leader role within a central analytics team. Using your technical skills, business acumen and creativity, you will build tools to automate reporting and generate insight to help internal customers to answer business questions.
• You’ll work with business leaders to understand their challenges and help them formulate metrics to answer key business questions
• You’ll use Hive, Snowflake and other tools in combination with our extensive data lake to create data marts attuned to specific areas (for example, a data mart specific to our Editorial business)
• You’ll use Looker to create reports that allow business leaders to self-serve (for example, a report that allows our editorial team to understand which photos from the Oscars were popular)

What You’ll Need:
• Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in a highly analytical field, specifically consulting, finance, business analytics
• BS degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid SQL skills required with experience with complex data sets
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, Snowflake, Looker, Qlikview or Tableau a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences including senior management
• Experience in B2B a plus
