Position Overview
Autodesk’s Digital Acquisition Marketing team is looking for a Search Engine Optimization Strategist to lead its organic search marketing efforts. In this role, you will be part of a team that accelerates Autodesk’s growth by acquiring new customers across multiple digital channels. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who loves using data to influence the direction of Autodesk’s digital marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
• Evaluating search performance and driving SEO improvement for Autodesk, focusing primarily on eCommerce goals
• Driving traffic and business results through keyword research, competitive analysis, content creation, and more
• Aligning search strategies and tactics between digital marketing, industry marketing, demand generation and digital advertising
• Measuring the effectiveness of strategies and tactics with analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search Console, and revising as needed
• Assisting in refining, documenting, and communicating SEO team processes so that we may collaborate more effectively with web, engineering, and marketing teams
• Creating and editing web pages to support SEO strategy and meet digital eCommerce goals
• Audit and enhance existing web pages to improve performance, such as page speed or search engine discoverability
• Assist with technical SEO tasks, such as redirect management, XML sitemap maintenance, and monitoring web errors using crawling tools
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• 2-3 years of experience in online marketing, ideally in enterprise-level SEO
• At least 1-2 years online web publishing experience, ideally in content development
• Understanding of the basic components of search algorithms and SEO best practices
• Working knowledge of HTML, and familiarity with CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with SEO analysis, common SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
• Proactive and eager to take on new challenges and see tasks through to completion
• Experienced in digital marketing best practices for eCommerce, especially B2B
• Team-oriented and collaborative in your approach to problem solving
• Comfortable presenting data and crafting compelling stories to influence decisions
• A strong communicator, with the ability to explain complex concepts effectively and concisely to a variety of audiences
• Multiple language skills a plus
