Position Overview
With relentless focus on creating customer loyalty, the Digital Renewal Sales Specialist is responsible for a specific set of accounts and driving revenue through subscription renewals. The DRSS will provide post-sales initiatives and guidance to customers who have a direct purchase relationship with Autodesk. This positon will support a French speaking Canadian territory.
Manages a portfolio of Autodesk customers with direct Autodesk purchase history.
Promotes overall customer satisfaction, product adoption, retention, and renewals primarily in the small business and very small business segment partners with Sales on account and territory planning provides customer health leadership and handles escalations of at-risk customers works directly with customers to complete their purchases of Autodesk products including quoting, online transactions and working with our Client Services department to process customer orders responsible for meeting or exceeding annual renewal revenue target
Responsibilities
• The Digital Renewal Sales Specialist will be responsible for ensuring customer retention in the following ways:
• Achieving renewal revenue goals by managing, building and developing a pipeline of renewal sales opportunities.
• Prioritizing high value target accounts within an assigned territory
• Discovering customer business challenges.
• Leveraging a solutions-based approach to articulate business workflows and industry trends that impact the customer’s business outcomes
• Use people and technology resources appropriately to correctly assess risk of retention for assigned renewal opportunities
• Help customers reach their business goals with the Autodesk Solutions they own
• Monitor customer usage data, health indicators, renewal dates and growth opportunities and translate into strategies for retention
• Business planning with extended teams
• Identify opportunities for expansion
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
• Build strong customer relationships for repeat business

Minimum Qualifications
• 4 -6 years previous experience in renewal sales, customer success, account management, or project management role
• Bilingual - English /French- excellent communications skills in English and French required
• Successful track record of achieving sales quotas
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM Software
• English- Native level proficiency -spoken and written
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Experience managing a large portfolio of B2B accounts and accurately forecasting renewal expectations
• Experience with complex, escalated customer situations
• Ability to navigate customer organizations and gain decisionmaker buy-in
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Deep understanding of customer success and renewal principles approaches and considerations
• Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions
• Ability to build collaborative relationships within sales and support to facilitate a better customer experience
• Ability to forge strong customer relationships and insights over the phone
• Program or Project Management skills
• Highly skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to quickly adapt and learn
