Position Summary:
Responsible for the development and execution of SG Gaming Business and Market Intelligence function including global competitor and market position which includes game performance comparisons, pricing trends, pricing margin analysis, share of wallet, product sales mix, portfolio sell through, systems optimization, process alignment, strategic analysis and initiatives across the SG product portfolio.
Will partner with leaders and staff across multiple functions globally to identify areas of sales opportunities with strong ROIC and strategic insights to grow and defend our market and competitive position. Will lead data, competitor, and market-driven analytics initiatives to support business decisions and develop recommendations for improvement. Manages and supports Sr. business analyst to ensure the accuracy of monthly and quarterly business reporting and provide guidance on ad-hoc analysis.
Position Requirements
Job Functions:
• Lead and own global market position reporting including: managing of tools and reports to provide quick, and easy to read, Global SG market position KPI’s for ALL SG Gaming product lines.
• Manage SG Share of Wallet reporting across domestic and international markets assessment
• Provide executive leadership with ad hoc analysis and insights related to competitors including shipshare, R&D spend as % of revenue, Margin analysis, and other relevant KPIs for ALL gaming product lines globally.
• Lead collaborative meetings between sales, product management and marketing to understand business and customer requirements and develop strategies to address customer and SG needs.
• Develop and drive comprehensive sell through analysis and optimization tactics to improve profitability across the portfolio for all channels, products and services
• Advise product managers on competitive pricing for new product introductions and optimal competitive positioning.
• Manage Sr. business analyst to ensure the accuracy of monthly and quarterly business reports and provide guidance on ad hoc analysis.
• Oversee departmental budgets to:
◦ Ensure accuracy of all departmental charges
◦ Analyze budget variances
◦ Provide accurate budget forecasting
◦ Provide executive reports including runrate analysis and monthly, quarterly and annual budget summaries.
• Create sales enablement tools to identify assists sales leadership in identify sales gaps and opportunities.
• Provide product managers with market analysis on SG and competitors that will allow them to determine optimal product strategies.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Mathematics, Marketing Research or related field
• 5+ years experience in market and competitor and/or financial modelling
• Gaming/casino, or supplier side market research, or CPG industry preferred
• Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with highly technical management team.
• Ability to communicate with and work across functional areas of Sales, Product Management, Order Management and Finance to resolve issues in pricing and discounting
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, ability to model complex computations via Excel (financial, statistical, etc).
• Experience with one or more statistical languages and software is a plus (SAS, SPSS, Stata, Matlab, Python, Alteryx, Microstrategy, SQL)
• Experience with Tableau data visualization software preferred.

• Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free analysis
• Be able to work independently with limited direction, and in a high pressure environment.
• Excellent time management, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
• Must be detail oriented and well organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to complete assigned tasks on aggressive timelines with high quality
