Job Description:
The industry is changing. Marketers demand more than traditional reports, data is now integral to strategy. This requires a new type of analyst, one that combines systematic thinking with strategic vision. Horizon Analytics is pioneering the field by introducing a client-centric group, tasked with development and integration of insights.
The Analytics Manager, Insights Integration, will help champion this agency initiative to streamline cross-channel analytics and insights offerings. The role will build client-specific solutions that inform campaign performance and drive institutional knowledge. A strong understanding of industry measurement solutions is required to drive this change.
The ideal candidate will grow a client through education and building of trust. Being the analytics authority to the client is pivotal. Additionally, the manager will lead and mentor a team. Fostering talent is central to the evolution of this department.
Main Responsibilities
Lead cross-channel measurement plans, cadenced reports, and post campaign analysis 20%
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on client needs and strategic imperatives 15%
Be the analytics point of contact for senior level clients 10%
Accelerate the staffing and growth through hiring and consolidation of existing talent 5%
Mentor analytics team 5%
Educate and socialize the importance of data and analytics within the organization 5%
RFP and evaluate outside vendors and partnerships 5%
Develop client-specific learning agendas and identify best-fit solutions 10%
Develop cross-channel KPIs, measurement strategy, and reporting methodologies that align to campaign and brand goals 15%
Develop stories with data that help clients identify and solve business needs 10%
Knowledge and Skills Required
Key behavioral competencies:
◦ Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations with forecasted outcomes/implications
◦ Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, creative performance, media strategy, and standard media measurement
◦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and package technical finding in layman’s terms
Experience with media data sources (comScore, Millward Brown, Nielsen DAR/TAR/Brand Effects, MRI), third party ad serving platforms (Sizmek, DCM), web analytics (Omniture/Google Analytics), third-party validation (IAS, DoubleVerify), data visualization (Tableau), and attribution solutions (Visual IQ, Adometry)
Prior experience in building teams: managing, training, and mentoring staff on all aspects of analytics and marketing strategy
