We’re hiring a Senior Analyst to join the Growth Analytics team in the Central Growth organization at WeWork Galactic Headquarters in New York. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Growth Analytics, we’re looking for a self-starter who is passionate about using data to drive informed member experience and business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and passionate about applying data (particularly with large data sets) to inform decision making. You are focused on results and have demonstrated success in using analytics to drive the understanding, growth, and success of a product and business.

The Growth Analytics team will work to define and measure WeWork’s growth, generate insights, and shape the roadmap for execution. During both strategy definition and execution, the Growth Analytics team will partner closely with WeWork’s Growth Innovation and Strategy teams.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of WeWork’s Growth metrics by collaborating with partner growth operations teams
• Proactively identify opportunities for growth, improved user experience, and operating efficiency through data analytics
• Devise and conduct analyses to measure and validate WeWork’s growth initiatives
• Leverage a data-driven approach to turn insights from team analyses into an actionable set of recommendations for the business
• Liaise closely with the Technology team, including Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, to ensure consistency and comprehensiveness of data
Qualifications
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
• 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, management consulting, or comparable analytics positions using large, complex data sets to address business problems
• Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to look beyond the “what” to understand the “why” and determine the “so what”
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Strong skills in data extraction, munging, analysis, and statistics in Excel, R, Python, etc.
• Proficiency in query language such as SQL highly preferred
• Proven experience in complex, multi-faced stakeholder management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for data and its use in driving organizational change
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly growing and scaling work environment
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and positive attitude
