The Performance Marketing Analytics Manager will play a critical role overseeing paid media data, analyses and reporting. You will work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to ensure the quality and consistency of data and reporting. You will develop data strategy and analytics roadmaps to help identify opportunities, inform media buying, optimize throughout the marketing and sales funnel, and ensure media dollars are invested to drive maximum ROI.
Responsibilities:
• Support the internal growth acquisition team and media agency with data and reporting needs to optimize media spend across channels;
• Design, implement and maintain data processes to ensure data hygiene
• Define the KPIs, conversion events, measurement methodology, and establish success criteria and benchmarks of campaign performance, manage the proper measurement and reporting of online and offline marketing campaigns
• Monitor and QA all media metrics on an ongoing basis
• Transform metrics/data into actionable insights and collaborate with Media/Ad Tech counterparts to share learnings
• Develop, maintain naming conventions for new channel sources; develop playbooks and operating procedures for media transition and regional/local media channels onboarding
• Partner with internal analytics and data engineering teams to develop a data strategy roadmap to fully optimize and operationalize acquisition data sources
• Identify opportunities for data enhancement and appends using internal and external resources
• Responsible for supervising analysts
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience within digital marketing/data analytics preferably media agency background
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations
• Deep experience with SQL and data transformations, proficient in manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends and using a multitude of disparate data sources and tools
• Deep experience in business intelligence platforms and tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Splunk, Mode, Power BI, etc…)
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling and knowledge of at least 1 programming language
• Working knowledge of Salesforce
• Experience with API’s and other data extraction/load methodologies
• Strong expertise in the digital media ecosystem including ad serving and reporting tools, media platforms, MTA and DMP solutions, web analytics tools
• Excellent understanding of media fundamentals and industry knowledge, including media metrics and quantitative business measures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
• Strong initiative, sound attention to detail and ability to think strategically
• 2+ years experience in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications:
• Media agency experience preferred
• Advanced (Master’s Degree or higher) in Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or other Quantitative fields
