The We Company’s Director of Learning will be responsible for delivering an exceptional onboarding and continued learning experience to the full population of learners. You will directly manage a team of two and indirectly lead employees globally. The Learning Director will oversee The We Company’s employee onboarding, individual development, and compliance training programs. As a leader whose role is critical to ensuring the quality of the employee experience, you will be a catalyst to inspire team members to positively contribute toward the culture of the We Company. This role will be expected develop, maintain and improve programs to enhance skills and prepare team members for future roles that require greater skill.
Do You?
• Have proven experience with designing extraordinary training content, driving the completion of required courses, and building culture through team member morale and loyalty to the organization and mission
• Manage and oversee production of training content for orientation while supporting team leaders to design effective 90-day onboarding experience for new hires
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance trainings meet global requirements and are a reflection of our culture
• Align to organization-wide competencies to develop individual development content that is effective, consistent, and on brand with a multi-modal approach
• Work closely with regional and functional People leaders to identify learning needs and address common skill gaps
• Maximize spend to ensure the highest global impact
• Support regional team members responsible for executing learning programs within role scope through coaching and feedback
Do You Have?
• College degree or equivalent with experience in business, human resources, or management
• 8+ years learning and development experience
• Proven success record and strategic experience engaging learners in required and elective learning opportunities
• Can play “high and low”, operating at both a strategic and tactical level as needed
• Presents well, demonstrating the aptitude of communicating clearly and effectively to upper management and all levels across departments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, project management and problem solving skills
• Demonstrates WeWork’s values with integrity, responsibility and as strong belief in the Company’s mission
