About the Role
The overall objective of the Senior Director of Program Management for Israel is to grow the Salesforce culture and business practices in the region and to ensure that the local team is supported and connected with the rest of Salesforce teams. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced environment, aligning exec stakeholders, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally. This role with report directly to the SVP/GM of Marketing Cloud/Datorama.
Responsibilities
• Actively drive the process of developing of Salesforce culture and processes in Israel offices (Tel Aviv and Nazareth).
• Consult and facilitate collaboration between functional and local teams.
• Take an active and supportive role in the broader integration efforts to understand the cultural differences and capture the good parts of the different cultures.
• Collaborate with other functions including ESBPs, Recruiting, REWS, IT, ES workforce planning, Finance and PR to support recruiting and retention efforts.
• As delegate of the Site Council Leader, organize and facilitate FY20 launch of Israel Site Council. Includes all functions represented in country.
• Develop understanding of Tel Aviv business practices, needs, and norms, synthesize with Site Council. Facilitate creation of Site Council V2MOM.
• Evangelize “Israel” advantage via celebration of local wins to rest of Salesforce (especially HQ, Indy and NYC).
• Program manage Employee Communications for Site Leader / Council. Includes Israel Chatter page, monthly updates to Site employees, quarterly all hands.
• Partner with TMP Innovation and Learning team to deliver Tel Aviv programs.
• Serve as on-location resource for local Tel Aviv employees to get help navigating Salesforce org, tools, and processes with an emphasis on T&P. Ensure viewing parties are offered for Laulima, Dreamforce, Company Kickoff, Innovation Summit, Architecture Summit
• Manage Salesforce executive visits to ensure broad and meaningful employee engagement.
• Develop Israel VTO programs resulting in x hours of VTO in FY20.
• Encourage Tel Aviv Ohana Group engagement
Required skills and experience
• Business Leadership Skills: Strong, team-oriented leadership skills. Able to identify, frame and confront issues and make tough decisions. Strong initiative. Solid business acumen.
• Executive Communication Skills: Exceptionally strong communicator equally adept at communications strategy and execution, with the ability to craft a full range of clear, high-impact communications with top level company executives. Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations. Candidness is a benefit.
• Globalization / localization: Desire to drive alignment with corporate process & policies while having a keen awareness of local business practices, needs and cultural norms. Ability to evaluate where opportunity to grow specific country and/or regional needs to fit economic, business growth targets
• Analytics: Strong critical thinking skills. Experience applying various methodologies or practices to assess processes, business issues and people. Ability to extract key messages from detail and translate into audience appropriate messages. Strong editing skills.
• Process Improvement Skills: Ability to analyze poorly defined areas and processes within a cross-functional organization. Effective in implementing new and improved processes.
• Influencing and Interpersonal Skills: Able to establish and build close working relationships. Strong personal credibility and counseling skills. Team-oriented planner and decision-maker. Able to creatively drive consensus.
• Global Change Management experiences and skills are critical.
• Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce's business and culture is preferred.
