This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Expedia and eCommerce Platform teams. You will work collaboratively across Product, Technology, Operations and Expedia Group partners to build and execute our go-to-market sales and execution strategy
What you will do:
• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy
• Compose UVP for each client segment and building sales collateral for prospective opportunities
• Lead the identification, engagement, evaluation and negotiation cycles with prospective clients
• Recruit, hire and build a team of ultra-high performing sales talent
• Active involvement in selling all deals in the early stages and large and complex deals as the team ramps
• Be the architect of a growing sales organization by establishing norms, communicating training and bringing best-in-class practices
• Passion and obsession for solving customer problems
Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field required or MBA from a credible program
• 5-10 years in a business development, consulting or B2B sales and marketing
• Experience within Travel and Hospitality segment (i.e. Air, OTA, Hotel/Lodging, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of the Payments and Fraud technology ecosystem (including competitors, capabilities and potential innovation opportunities) is a plus
• Ability to discover, build, and close opportunities at both existing and new clients
• Ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics
• Ability to establish relationships and extend partnerships with existing Expedia B2B partners and clients
• End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as large-scale licensing deals and strategic technology relationships.
• Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally.
• Passion for big challenges and a good sense of humor.
