We’re hiring a Data Architect to join the Marketing Data & Intelligence team in the Marketing organization at WeWork galactic headquarters in New York.
At WeWork, data sits in the center of our business, providing insights into growth and marketing strategy and the effectiveness of the campaigns. We are looking for a strong data architect / engineer that comes from a digital marketing background to help improve our marketing data infrastructure.
Major Responsibilities:
• Manage large data sets, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ingest data from a variety of source systems including digital marketing platforms, DCM, DBM, web analytics tools and CRM.
• Design, create, and build data models to support multi-touch attribution, customer analytics and data science.
• Create BI dashboards and workbooks using Tableau, Looker, and CRM.
• Automate weekly and monthly reporting, create documentation for applications and processes.
• Evaluate, maintain, and enhance the existing ETL processes and model/cube structures.
• Ensure marketing campaign funnels and customer behavior flows are tagged and tracked accurately for reporting and analysis purposes.
Qualifications:
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in data modeling and database design, building flexible schemas, analytic data models and warehouses, digital marketing experience strongly preferred
• Working with relational databases; experience with AWS services strongly preferred (S3, Redshift)
• Proven skills with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau (dashboard design, configuration and advanced calculations), Looker (LookML)
• Coding in Python, Java and writing complex SQL
• Experience working in the Salesforce environment, understanding business products, journey flow and terminology
• Expertise in a query language such as SQL or equivalent
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver against aggressive deadlines
• Masters Degree in computer science, statistics, marketing analytics, or other Quantitative fields is highly preferable
• Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity, with laser focus on execution
