About the Role:
This role is fantastic for anyone wanting to help improve and think creatively about sourcing and supply chain processes in a client facing environment. Its primary purpose is to identify sourcing needs through client and internal cross functional interaction and lead regional and global Sourcing Analysts (and other regional and global S&SC staff) to source new products that are not available through WeWork’s global catalog and to achieve lower project costs and ensure products are available in time for project delivery schedules. It will require a commitment to understanding and learning about the past and present processes while proactively molding future processes thereby establishing a clear path for growth and expansion and cost savings.

Responsibilities:
• Engage in a sourcing effort which will result in the lowering of costs, improvement of quality or reduction in time to deliver a project.
• Execute and implement the sourcing strategies for products where no global deal exists for the product, and the product is likely to be utilized on an ongoing future basis (including but not limited to furniture, fixtures, lighting, construction materials, consumables, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, networking equipment, etc.).
• Assign souring projects to Sourcing Analysts and manage those projects through completion.
• Leverage market intelligence, should‐cost modeling, TCO analysis, and develop forward looking opportunity analysis.
• Identify, trace, and communicate overall sourcing strategies and cost savings initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure strategies are comprehensive (e.g. S&SC, Engineering, Interior Design, BIM, Arts & Graphics, Construction, Operations, etc.)
• Collaborate with other PxWe sourcing members to ensure best practices and synergies are captured.
• Interface with Clients to provide insights into the sourcing and procurement process at PxWe and outline means and methods to achieve incremental value for the client.
• Support supplier performance initiatives against contracted obligations/service levels and business expectations as they relate to PxWe and coordinate with SRM and quality teams.
• Deliver information about completed agreements to all WeWork partners; publicize agreements in order to achieve greater participation and savings. Engage with Global sourcing team to elevate / promote regional deals, where appropriate.
• Develop and refresh documentation to support the Supply Chain team, which may include RFX documentation, spend analysis, and other documentation as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the Global Head of Sourcing PxWe to provide progress updates and coordinate initiatives.
• Reports to the Head of PxWe Sourcing.
Qualifications:
• 4-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a "can do" attitude, but open to feedback and a strong desire to learn.
• Demonstrated success achieving quantifiable savings while collaborating and leveraging regional and global team and in a cross functional capacity.
• Excellent people skills with an ability to build consensus and interface with Clients.
• Knowledgeable across a broad range of products and services, and able to learn quickly in areas that require additional knowledge.
• Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a "can do" attitude, but open to feedback and a strong desire to learn.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global decentralized organization.
• Organized, with excellent time management skills, and with the ability to prioritize tasks and work on both short term and long-term solutions simultaneously.
• Clear communicator and excellent presenter with oral, written, and graphic presentation skills.
• Possesses strong cost modeling knowledge and skills.
• Proficient in documentation.
• Reliable, focused, and detail oriented.
• Fluent in English.
