Our Sales & Channel team shares Dropbox Business with enterprises around the world and helps them understand the power Dropbox offers to teams at scale. We’re a collaborative and empathetic sales team, focused on understanding what businesses need to work better together.
Role Description
The Global Sales and Channel (GSC) team is responsible for driving Outbound sales to companies over 250 employees, both through direct sales and channel sales. This part is the fastest growing part of the company and will play a critical role in its future growth. The GSC team is several hundreds of people in locations around the word.
The Strategic Program Management Lead role is accountable for the design, implementation and tracking of strategic programs. These programs typically drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, reduce customer churn or build differentiation vs competition. One key program for 2019 is to develop and roll out the next version of the global blueprint for Customer Success and to enable the Customer Success organization to hit its product adoption objectives with customers.
The Strategic Program Management Lead will report into the VP of Global Sales and Channel, be part of the GSC Leadership Team and lead one or a few direct reports. This role is both strategic, business result focused and transformational.
In this role, the person partners closely with the Regional Sales teams (including Customer Success, the Global Channel Team, Sales Operations, Data Science, Marketing, Business Development, Product, Finance and Customer Experience. The aim is to develop strategic initiatives, identify critical success metrics for the strategic programs, drive strategic programs to deliver results and track the progress of all GSC strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
• You will work closely with Global Sales and Channel leadership and other teams to design strategic programs, critical to the growth of the GSC business and to customer experience, drive the execution of these programs and track progress.
• You will both gather data, analyze, define opportunities and drive execution of programs, in conjunction with people in the GSC organization and in other teams. We are looking for both strategic program development as well as tangible business results from the programs and organizational transformation where necessary.
• You will lead the Strategic Program Management to design and implement Customer Success 3.0 in 2019, which is the next generation of how we run Customer Success globally and drive success for our customers when it comes to using our products.
• You will lead and facilitate sessions with global, cross-functional teams that are driving a strategic initiative.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help co-create programs, create buy-in for programs.
• You will need to stay abreast of and share industry, competitor, and consumer behavior trends that can impact Dropbox.
• You will need to be able to work with and lead external strategic consultants, where applicable.
• You will lead the Strategic Program Management Team, provide coaching, people development, thought partnership, and mentorship to team members, define team culture, and engagement models.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance; M.B.A. or other advanced technical degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience, of which minimum 7 years in a tier 1 management consulting or private equity firm and minimum 3 years in strategy & operations, program management or change management at a tech company. Experience in SaaS and/or Customer Success are pluses.
• Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders; experience with a rapidly scaling business is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building skills and influencing skills - the ability to develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams around the globe, to operationalize key strategic initiatives.
• You are highly analytical, good at breaking down problems and delivering actions.
• You have a passion for going from designing strategy to driving execution and you are motivated by delivering real business results.
• You have experience in people management.
• You have a low ego attitude: willing to shift from high-level critical thinking, to rolling up your sleeves and driving implementation.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape.
