About the Role
You will be an experienced leader on a high impact team that helps enable business growth by providing timely and strategic guidance on the Corporate Accounting Process.
What You'll Do
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
• Oversee consolidation and worldwide compliance, including managing 3rd party accounting service providers
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly account reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner
• Lead quarterly SOX compliance activities to ensure timely completion
• Assist SEC filing documents and the earnings release process with respect to accounting
• You will lead GL team in monthly balance sheet and P&L reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results;
• Work with technical and operational accounting to provide mentorship related to proposed transactions
• Respond to inquiries from finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests
• Work closely with internal and external audit functions to ensure compliance and plan for new accounting guidance
• Improvements in execution for accounting close and reporting processes
• Assist with Finance Transformation and automation efforts
About You

• A superior problem solver, possessing the initiative to look into the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers
• Excellent multi-tasker who has strong time and project management skills and understands the importance of planning in advance to meet deadlines that include multiple review points and iterations
• Strong communicator, both written & verbal; reliable and responsive to email and phone communications
You must have ...
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification; Big 4 CPA firm (or regional equivalent) experience required
• Public company experience required including experience with SEC reporting and technical requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Cadency a plus but not required
