About the Role
WeWork is looking for a Contracts Administrator Senior Associate to join our Capital Improvements team to manage design, construction, and procurement related contracts for US & Canada - West region. The objective of this individual is to ensure efficient administration of these contracts in accordance with company and legal requirements. This individual will be part of the US & Canada - West regional team and is responsible for the lifecycle of all contracts required for a WeWork Capital Improvements project. Responsibilities will include identifying required contracts and shepherding them to execution by collaborating with business and legal partners.
Responsibilities
• Provide time-sensitive support to the project teams by responding to contract requests needed for external parties
• Prepare, organize, and administer all project contracts including Amendments, SoWs, Certificates of Insurance, etc. in accordance with company and legal requirements
• Serve as main liaison between the project team and the construction legal team for contract needs, particularly if negotiations or changes to the contracts are required
• Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding the project team's contracts
• Assist in maintaining our contract management system and other databases
Qualifications
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
• Must be responsible, accountable and results-driven
• Excellent proofreading, organization and communication skills
• 3-4 years experience in contracts management, process management, or equivalent field
• Paralegal experience a plus but not required
• Construction, design, or other development experience highly preferred
• Motivated individual able to manage competing priorities
• Detail-oriented and organized
