Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Communications Coordinator position will offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to join a division in one of the world's foremost late-stage growth companies. Supporting the communication needs of a brokerage company, this position will focus on the writing and communication of both internal and external marketing and operational documents.
The role demands energy, dynamism, and a positive attitude combined with diligence and vigilance. The successful candidate will be an excellent writer, and highly organized, with strong time management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Support the marketing function of the group by developing and implementing proactive and reactive communications plans and initiatives.
• Write, edit, and proofread materials including press releases, pitch letters, fact sheets, and correspondence, email nurturing campaigns, presentations, and internal messages.
• Act as team’s researcher and primary support -- maintain press lists and marketing distribution lists/database, and research and assess media and speaking opportunities and advise the team on suitability.
• Liaise frequently with other WeWork teams around the world to ensure communications efforts that leverage WeWork’s product are accurate and supportive of WeWork’s larger PR strategies.
• Work closely with the Director of Operations to design nurturing campaigns using Pardot
• Able to take thought-leadership ideas and concepts and convert them into stories and blog posts.
• Provide communications support for internal operations policies and manuals
• Write compelling content that will be used in new product / service launches and recruiting initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years experience in communications or public relations, in-house or at an agency
• A strong self-starter who is eager to make their mark in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization
• Excellent organization, communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Experience working across multiple levels and functions of an organization
• Ability to quickly digest information, prioritize actions and execute
• Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities
• Experience as a marketing or communications role within a Real Estate company is preferred
