What You’ll Do:
You will join the industry leading Partner Marketing team to provide strategic leadership for marketing to our 60k partners across the organization. To help us lead our marketing discipline to the next level, you will refine and innovate on the persona-driven approach, integrate off and online omnichannel plans and track success metric.
Aligning closely with Global Partner Organizations’s business strategy, you will partner with sales and field marketing to ensure an end to end execution of our marketing-to partner strategy. This includes defining our partner co-branding strategy, developing the partner marketing and comms strategy, executing the omnichannel campaigns, digital and education programs.
Being a critical member of the Global Partner Marketing leadership team, you will play a critical role in further transforming our marketing practice in the following areas:
• Outside in/partner perspective - Nurture strategic relationships to ensure the partner and industry perspective is the driving force behind our plans and execution.
• Strategic Direction – Using data and partner insights to establish marketing-to plans in alignment with sales and marketing goals, commit to a long-range vision, strategy and detailed annual plans.
• Business Mindset – Lead team through the transformation Cisco is driving from Products to Services with Recurring Revenue. Use strong business and technical knowledge to find opportunities to drive aggressive business growth and deliver Marketing return on investment.
• Marketing Innovation – Leverage automation and programmatic capabilities in an environment of testing and optimization. Be agile in a fast-changing, resource constrained environment
• Work towards results – execute relentlessly to deliver desired business outcomes
• Team leadership - Cultivate an innovation culture that recognizes team creativity. Develop future leaders capable of succession.
• Strategic Relationships - Evolve the marketing operating model by establishing effective relationships with business partners (including: senior executives, peers, partners, media/analysts, external vendors, and internal stakeholders)
Who You'll Work With
The team works with partners, internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Cisco’s business. You have a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and agile team that is undergoing an evolution of its practices and skills to become more integrated and automated using a digital/ omni channel approach where practical, so our marketing becomes more personalized and effective.
You will be a strategic partner to the Global Partner Organization’s leadership team, and your counterparts across Global Marketing and Communications. You will work across our global and country teams to apply all that Cisco can offer to our partners, which account for 85% of Cisco’s $49 billion revenue.

You understand, through firsthand experience, the challenges of marketing complex IT solutions across all segments of the marketplace, through direct, partner and distribution channels.

• You have 15+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications leadership experience, preferably in tech.
• You have 7+ years of partner marketing experience, preferably a focus on marketing to partners.
• You have previously led a team of 5+ direct reports.
• You have a proven record of accomplishment in creating and leading sustainable high-performance teams.
• You possess demonstrated digital marketing success.
• You have career success in large global brands.
