DESCRIPTION
Partner with business leaders, talent acquisition teams and other Amazon HR Business Partners to attract and develop world class talent by developing and implementing new HR strategies that will support growth, product launches and category expansion, and ensure personnel alignment with business objectives and Amazon's culture. Provide business management, operational, and strategic planning support, and implement a talent acquisition strategy/roadmap on an annual and long-range basis to meet the overall growth goals of the businesses and its programs. Conduct organizational studies and establish and implement HR programs, policies, procedures, curriculum, solutions, and tools that support organizational and talent development in operating more efficiently and effectively within recruitment, performance review, training, HR services, and related operations. Develop and automate the reporting of key performance metrics and analysis using Excel, SQL, Essbase and other tools to achieve business goals. Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, and organizational changes. Develop human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. Serve as an advisor to key business leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings, annual offsites, and leadership staff meetings to translate business needs into HR plans; and direct annual HR efforts relating to Talent and Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Development. Proactively review and analyze people data and measurement data to identify trends and recommend improvements to business efficiency and performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Primary Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and 20 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or related.
Alternate Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field and 15 years of relevant experience in job offered or as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Manager, or related
