Description:
As a crucial member of the Go to Market leadership team, this Business Development Director will build, and execute a Partner, Franchise and Affinity Biz Dev Strategy for RingCentral Mass Market. They will include ownership of existing partnerships and development of new incremental demand channels which will be vital in our growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Own RingCentral’s partnering and franchise model from strategy to execution for Mass Market.
• Evangelize RingCentral products and solutions and educate RingCentral Partners on new areas of opportunities in collaboration with RingCentral.
• Set and execute Go to Market business plans for partnerships that drive incremental demand.
• Provide insight and recommendations on the opportunity to leverage the right partners to drive newer solutions working in close alignment with the sales counterparts
• Execution and conversion of the franchise/ISV application process– review due diligence, legal documents & budgets.
• Participate in account planning and opportunity funnel management with partners; work with partner sales management to help formulate sales strategies and align appropriate resources
• Build a consistent process to drive enablement, product updates, technical training and collaterals for the partners to ensure execution effectiveness.
• Build alignment and momentum with RingCentral partners by developing solutions and go-to-market programs.
• Build revenue generation and strategic partnership development and management.
• Execution of partner programs including, but not limited to, lead generation, partner sales enablement, co-marketing, event participation, training, product integration oversight, and marketplace management.
Skills and Experience (or whatever that states what we want this person to poses):
• 5+ years in a similar role preferably in a high growth SaaS org.
• Established relationships and credibility in the market.
• Ability to work cross functionally to develop product and GTM strategies
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to achieve sales success; including executive-level relationships, account penetration, solution selling, and coordination of multi-site account management.
• Able to handle a large volume of activity, with the ability to both nurture existing partner relationships as well as drive new relationships to demonstrable value.
• Strong analytical skills, including market strategy, customer requirements and success factors, and a value-based selling process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creation of convincing and strategic sales approach, proposal, documentation and presentation.
• Team leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Generates new and innovative approaches to problems.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
