Job Details
The Director, Humanitarian Technology Impact will play a key role accelerating social impact among humanitarian and global development NGOs by developing and implementing an impact engagement strategy in partnership with our community. You will work across teams to help position our content, solutions and partners to ensure the most impactful and relevant offering possible. You will work with Trailblazers in the community to foster greater collaboration among current and prospective humanitarian NGO Salesforce.org members, other tech solution providers and other key stakeholders. You will also help inform a needs assessment that includes process improvements, capacity building, and more. As a member of the Global Impact Engagement team, you will be expected to both lead work and contribute to our long-term team global impact strategy. The Director, Humanitarian Technology Impact, will report to the VP of Global Impact Engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead development of Impact Engagement focused on technology for social change among humanitarian and global development NGOs
• Strengthen technology impact and thought leadership relationships with existing humanitarian and disaster relief customers and influencers;
• Expand and diversify technology impact among humanitarian and disaster relief NGOs
• Partner with other Salesforce.org departments to ensure effective and appropriate tech solutions and road map for humanitarian NGOs
• Partner with other Salesforce.org departments to deliver Digital Transformation trainings for humanitarian NGOs
• Communicate findings to external audiences via presentations and publications
• Contribute to development of broader Salesforce.org Impact Ecosystem team strategy
• Report on portfolio to internal and external executive audiences
Experience/Skills Required:
• Deep executive relationships across the humanitarian and global development sector
• Demonstrated understanding for the use of Salesforce.org technology products and solutions in humanitarian and global development NGOs
• Minimum of 8 years of senior leadership experience leading technology humanitarian and global development transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience developing high-quality executive presentations
• Deep commitment to making the world a better place through technology for social change
• Strong communication skills, especially when sharing unique humanitarian-sector needs to audiences who may not be familiar
• Ability to collaborate with others to ensure successful project completion
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline required, graduate degree strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
