Director of Product Management, AWS Insights
DESCRIPTION
AWS Insights is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our product, marketing, business development, program, and user experience teams across our fast-growing financial management product suite, which includes Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost & Usage Reports, Recommendations, Forecasting, and the Billing & Cost Management Console. AWS is investing heavily in the financial management space to enable our customers to access, organize, and understand their AWS financial data and enable them to optimize and control their usage for cost efficiency. In this role, you will own the strategic vision and execution of our financial management product roadmap. This includes defining and launching new features for existing services as well as launching new services altogether, while expanding our service coverage in new regions across the globe. You will also be responsible for the financial performance (i.e., P&Ls) of these services.
In this role, you will have a chance to interact with AWS customers across different types and sizes—from individual developers to large enterprises—and use their feedback to drive innovation. Your team will include product management, marketing, business development, program management, and user experience. You will hire talented professionals across those functions and bring them together as a team to innovate and deliver. You will leverage your experience with financial products and associated customers to define and build innovative and intuitive products. You will set—and be expected to deliver on—aggressive goals for feature delivery, adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
You must have an established background in delivering customer-facing solutions, strong technical skills, excellent product management skills, exceptional communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You must be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence within a team. You must be a builder with good working knowledge of cloud technologies. Knowledge of financial management products is a strong plus.
If you join us, you will be rewarded with the opportunity to lead a highly visible AWS service, define how AWS customers perform financial management, and help build highly scalable and impactful customer-facing services.
Responsibilities:
• Drive product roadmap, including detailed product definition and prioritization across the AWS Insights financial management product suite (e.g., Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost & Usage Reports, Recommendations, Forecasting, Detailed Billing Reports, and the Billing & Cost Management Console)
• Define and deliver upon aggressive success metrics, including feature delivery, adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction
• Engage with customers through a variety of channels and serve as the voice of the customer internally
• Provide effective written and verbal updates on the product roadmap and key projects to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs against technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building extraordinary customer experiences
• Present confidently to external clients and other large audiences
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
