MuleSoft, a Salesforce company, is looking for an operations leader to join our growing Global Sales Compensation team. This newly created position will be responsible for administering, implementing, and operationalizing MuleSoft's compensation plans in our instance of the Callidus Cloud tool. This is a working manager position and is a primary point of contact for sales management and sales representatives, including practical application and interpretation of the compensation plans, and resolving issues. Additionally, this role will also have the opportunity to provide reporting to sales management and continuously improve our commission business process and policies.

This position requires strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate and work with sales management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the monthly commission process. This includes understanding and applying the commission plan consistently, maintaining quotas and rates, ensuring Callidus commissions calculations comply with the plan, passing SOX audits, and managing exception requests. Provide expertise, support and training on all sales compensation plans.
• With each new fiscal year, roll out new plans to the field organization, including training, implementation and UAT of new compensation plans in Callidus, and updating policies and processes.
• Work cross functionally with other system owners to ensure the continuous flow of accurate data into Callidus. Team with Sales Operations, IT, and HR to maintain, refine, and improve data integration processes.
• Develop and deliver training, commission policy and process and related documentation for all commission areas. Collaborate with sales management and global commission teams.
• Create and drive project plans for delivering cross-regional and interdepartmental process improvements. – (e.g. payroll, accounting accruals, SOX controls/support)
About You:
• 8+ years of related experience in sales compensation, finance, or sales operations
• 4+ years of related experience with automation tools
• BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, sciences or other quantitative fields
• The ability to work well with a variety of personalities towards a common goal
• Customer service oriented with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Experience with enterprise software companies and SaaS business models is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and compensation software (e.g. Callidus, Xactly, Cognos, Netsuite, etc.)
