Role: Associate Creative Director
The Salesforce Global Brand creative team is looking for an Associate Creative Director to join and help lead our Creative Flex Team – a powerhouse creative SWAT collective of art directors, copywriters, designers, and illustrators/animators. We combine high-level creativity, craftsmanship, and strategic smarts to bring exceptional concepts to life that inspire customers and motivate prospects. We create films, experiences, dynamic microsites, guerrilla OOH and brand advertising campaigns, among many other projects and programs. Our team is comprised of experienced thinkers and storytellers, collaborating in a multifaceted work environment to create compelling and memorable work.
You are a talented and seasoned Art Director/Designer and experienced leader, with deep expertise in creating strategic and engaging brand experiences, from brand advertising, to web design, to event design and everything in between. You can skillfully manage and motivate a team of creatives, and still get hands-on creating designs, designing and building creative assets. As an Art Director you will create a variety of campaigns, across a variety of media, to help shape the image of a multi-billion dollar company.

You must be able to:
• Lead a creative team of art directors, designers and copywriters
• Take a hands-on approach to the work
• Create and inspire work that meets strategic marketing and business objectives
• Work with the Creative Director to set the vision and standard for craft and excellence
• Mentor junior creative staff through to maintain quality and consistency
• Present and sell your work to an executive level audience, provide a point of view, and articulate creative strategy
• Promote collaboration among a variety of stakeholders, providing strong partnership and leadership
• Constantly push the envelope by promoting progressive thinking and inventive solutions
• Demonstrate experience with, and ability to manage multiple projects and aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced, oft-changing environment
• Work with external vendors/freelancers to provide clear creative direction and timely/helpful feedback to propel the creative process forward
• Prioritize work and resources based on short and long-term needs
• Deliver outstanding results by applying a clear understanding of Salesforce products, of marketing trends and best practices, and of brand communication principles
• Elevate the “can-do” spirit of the team, with optimism, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude
Specific skills and experience:
• A compelling portfolio of original work that’s both conceptual and results-driven
' 6-8 years of experience
• Experience with corporate marketing and branding, and a clear understanding of marketing strategies and concepts.
• Experience managing junior creatives
• Strong conceptual skills. You know how to start with a big idea, and move forward from there.
• The ability to design within the Salesforce brand standards and visual identity system, interpreting them in fresh and imaginative ways, while remaining eager to push boundaries
